Situated opposite Ringwood East railway station, Indians Again is a local restaurant that focuses on, you guessed it, traditional Indian cuisine. My partner is a sucker for a good curry (as am I) and when I came across this place on Google, I thought I’d check it out.
If you’re familiar with South Indian cuisine, then you’d know what dosa is. I love, love, love dosa – a crispy thin crepe that’s the size of a small tent, served with some vegetarian sides. If I see it on a menu, I can’t look past it. This time was no exception.
I ordered a plain dosa to enjoy with some of the curries that my partner ordered. These were a butter chicken (an Australian…I mean Indian..classic), paneer curry, and a lamb rogan josh.
Everything was delicious; it was jam packed full of flavour, spicy, and tasty. I also loved that the service was warm and friendly, and the venue was clean (bonus!).
If you haven’t tried dosa before, you have not lived. Go and try some…it’s moreish, totally bad for you, and yummo. Indian’s Again gets my tick of approval for a local Indian restaurant – it’s nothing wow and spectadcular, but it sure is as good as any other local Indian place I’ve eaten at.
The next time a hankering for having some dosa and curry hits, I will have no hesitations at going back to Indians Again. It is worth every single spicy, crispy calorie.
